Who Pays?

Windshield Repair and Replacement Costs

When your auto glass gets damaged, one of the first thoughts is probably how much will this cost me?

Pay with Insurance

All Arizona comprehensive auto insurance policies include glass coverage thanks to Arizona’s free windshield replacement law. If you have a comprehensive auto policy, you are covered by this law.

It’s important to note the law only applies to comprehensive policies. Liability-only policies, which only cover harm you cause to other people and not damage to your vehicle, won’t cover full windshield replacement.

Pay on Your Own

Without insurance the cost to replace a windshield is typically around $300-$1000. For fancy and speciality cars the cost can be more.

If a full replacement isn’t necessary, the average chipped windshield repair ranges between $30-$70.
